The Tunnel of Coke

Just a view through some Coke bottles at the local grocery store. It's all in how you look at things.

Tunnel and Reflection

About a month ago I posted the Light at the End of the Tunnel of a shot under a bridge with no water. I've since revisited that spot a few times, and once was lucky enough to hit it after a heavy rain but before the summer heat evaporated off all the water again.

This time the water shows a nice surprise hiding up the hill on the other side: a tree.

Sure. I'll admit that there's not much exciting about just a tree. But with the starkness of the tunnel I liked how the reflection in the water showed something that wasn't visible directly out the other side.

Still don't find it interesting? I guess you just have to be there...

The light at the end of the tunnel

No jokes here about the light at the end of the tunnel being an oncoming train or even that it has been turned off as a cost savings measure. Just a nice shot of the underside of a new and often unused bridge.

The phone did a great job capturing the detail in the concrete (like I was hoping it would). The light at the end washes out what is actually on the other side (an added bonus).
